13th Annual Windjammer Weekend Treasure Hunt (from 2007*)...

Windjammer Weekend holds it own "Amazing Race" in Camden, Mainewithin walking distance of the Camden Harbor, where the festivities are held.
The first twelve teams to sign up can compete to win the treasure hunt, which begins promptly at 10 a.m. at the Camden Public Landing. Contestants must return with their treasures and booty by 2pm on Sunday.

Clues will be placed around town, and Angela Reed, Lincoln Street Center volunteer, will be at the Public Landing to assist in the formation of groups and to hand-delivering the first clue as contestants arrive. Each clue will lead to the next one; groups must collect all clues and a "booty list" to complete the treasure huntand have return by 2 p.m. to win.
The Windjammer Weekend Treasure Hunt is sponsored by The First and Lincoln Street Center for Arts & Education. Sponsors have provided prizes for the winners and special premiums for competing in the event this year. Tote bags, keytainers, T-shirts, and theatre tickets are among prizes for participation. Develop your understanding of the history of Camden, and boating in general, and enjoy an outing with friends and family on Sunday September 2, 2007.
