Emcee for the event (in his usual pirate garb) is Brian Willson of 3IP. Judging will be based on control/poise, nautical attire, talent—and each judge's gut feeling about each dog. Entry forms are available here, as well as at local Mid-Coast veterinary hospitals, pet shops, and the morning of the event. There will also be various demonstrations of agility and free style, presented by Sumac Grant-Johnson of Leaping Dogs.

Also on hand will be representatives of the Camden-Rockport Rescue League, who will discuss adoptions of man's best friend. Prizes donated by the Loyal Biscuit Company of Rockland and Yankee Clipper Pet Grooming of Rockport will be awarded, and each canine entrant will receive a token of the event. The local veterinaries sponsoring this memorable event will have staff available to discuss matters of K-9 concern.
