Maine's first pirate will be returning to Penobscot Bay at the 13th Annual Windjammer Weekend. Dixie Bull, who first raided the coast in 1632 (and who looks surprisingly good for 375 years old!) will make a return trip to Windjammer Weekend, where he will tell the strange, funny and even educational tale of his life and plundering on Saturday September 1 at 10:30am. This is sure to be great fun for pirate fans of all ages, so come and listen to the tale of Dixie Bull! (Note: Dixie requests that you bring all your valuables with you.) Also, Maine author James L. Nelson—who bears a striking resemblance to Dixie Bull—will be signing copies of his books on naval history and piracy all weekend.
