Captains Courageous (from 2007*)...



The 1977 Camden, Maine, filming of Captain's Courageous—the famed book by Rudyard Kipling—will be shown at the 13th Annual Windjammer Weekend at the Camden Public Library at 2:30 p.m. Saturday September 1st. Viewing this made-for-TV movie is a rare opportunity, and we invite anyone who had a hand in its filming to participate.

A reception will be held on the public landing Saturday, September 1, at 1 p.m.—with photos, news articles, clips from the film, and memorabilia at Capt. Jim Sharp's table. Capt. Sharp was the owner and captain of the Schooner Adventure that was used in the film.
